Nashley
A combination of Tom Nash from 'A Nash Odyssey' and Ashley Morton from 'Accolade Sky', Nashley is a 'supergroup', if you will. If you won't, we're an 'awesomegroup'. Nah, just yanking your chain.
We play acoustic guitar and singing harmonies. Or attempt to, at least.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We don't really have a history, besides that of our other bands. I (Tom) once asked Ashley to make it a two-person dealie at a birthday of a mutual friend, and it got me thinking 'hey, why don't I write some songs that two people could do?'. Then I wrote some songs that were fairly average, and Ash beefed them up with some sexy vocals.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We've played live just at the Queen's Head in Aylesbury, but are hopefully going to play a few more sets, in the UK.
Your musical influences
Simon and Garfunkel, other.. acoustic guitar stuff with vocals. Anything with harmonies could influence this. Tenacious D and Elastica both had effects on it.
What equipment do you use?
Yamaha APX-5A, and some guitar that Ash nicked off his mum.
Anything else?
Ashley is pretty and I am taller than he is.
