We are a metal band from Pula, Croatia. I deliberately say metal, because genre classifications have lost all meaning and I would be "cutting our music short" if I was to force it into any predefined frame. We were formed in the beginning of the year 2001. The idea to form a band came from the minds of Pero, Marko and Mario, who are the founding members. After a long search for a rhythm guitar player and a bass player, Sale and Tomo join the family. Everyone in the band had some previous experience in playing with their other/ex bands (If you live outside , skip this part, because you most probably haven't heard about any of these bands): Perica, Mario - SYAS, REMORSE; - NAS4; Marko - UNTITLED; Tomo - BLOCKADE RUNNER; Sale - NAS4, ANTI TODOR...
Every member of the band has a somewhat different musical taste, but we try to incorporate all of them into our songs. Another interesting detail is that Pero (drums) wasn't a big "metalhead" at all at the time he joined the band, but as time passed by he got into metal, and the band really benefited a great deal from his fresh, "unmetal" approach to metal music.
We have two demo CD's. The first was recorded in 2003 and is called "World Collapse 2003". We have also recorded a video supporting that demo album, for the track "Redrum".The second demo EP was recorded in 2004-05 and is called "A moment of clarity". We held approximately 50 live performances, it's quite a few considering that Croatia's metal community is fairly small, and is segregated from the European metal world. We had the honour of opening for two big bands when they played in Croatia. These were SEPULTURA in Zagreb (29.06.03.) and SOULFLY, also in Zagreb (13.06.04.).
I would dare to say that our live performances are energetic to say the least, as we pay attention to the whole act and not "just" playing (i.e. we don't look like frozen monkeys on stage...:)) If you can relate to Nailed's music "the right way", our concert is a place to blow-off steam, let the aggression out in a "safe" way, and walk out feeling calm like you've just spent the afternoon in a Jacuzzi. This last bit sounded a bit "hippie", no? Anyway, I think we are a band worth giving a listen, so check us out! Please :)

Your musical influences
The majority of the band grew up listening to "old school" bands such as Slayer, Sepultura and Metallica, and they all had a big influence in forming Nailed's musical vision. Other important bands that influenced our musical expression are Meshuggah, Slipknot, Machine head, Obituary, Pantera, Tool etc., it's imposibble to name them all, but it hints what you can expect.Contact
