This is/I am Nafa, the sole proprietor of this collective. It breaks down like this: 1/4 of Midnight Bowlers League 1/3 of Ladies Of Death Row Swimsuit Calendar 1/2 of The Missiles 1/1 of Nafa This is my answer to Richard Glenn Schmidt's challenge to get off my ass and do something. Strangely enough it came out like this. Music without instruments. I guess I'm not really a musician on this project per se, but more of a mad child with scissors and tape editing things together. It's music for people who hate music. Now I say dance, bastardos!

Have you performed in front of an audience?
I perform live with Midnight Bowlers League (Rockabilly) and Ladies Of Death Row Swimsuit Calendar (Alternative), and soon with The Missiles (Pop Alternative) and The Electorates (American Rock).
Your musical influences
My influences have nothing to do with the way this sounds. However, I am hugely influenced by the following: Split Enz, Neil Finn, Tim Finn, Bic Runga, Cigar Store Indians, Nena, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Duran Duran, Men At Work, Colin Hay, Mark Mulcahy, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Public Enemy, Prince, Jewel, Cocteau Twins, Crowded House, Blink 182, Shaggy, Brian Eno, Big Country, and some more.
Anything else?
Tampa has indeed crushed the hopes of us all. Look to other places in Florida, sacred places--Titusville, Orlando, Kissimmee, St. Augustine, Gainesville. There's more to this state than Tampa and Miami. Big love to everyplace that isn't here.

TRY OCALA if you want quiet, sacred, spritual.....we have beautiful almost untouched forests, unpolluted lakes, semi unpolluted rivers, wildlife up the butt a place where the racoons will steal your Doritos and oranges, and the squirrels will alk up to your feet and scare the holy begeezes outta you
