What it doo peeple? I go by the name of NaeemSoL. And I came to put a little paint where it ain't. To add a little light where it is dark. Add a little flavor where it is bland.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I came from many group and sang with alot of people. And I just decided that I would finally do something for myself by myself to prove some detractors wrong. So here I am.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes. I was at Kokopelli's here in Denver and I opened up for Slick Rick this March. That was a special moment.
Your musical influences
The list is soo long. I'll start with a few; Otis Redding, Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Edwyn Collins, Donnie, Charlie Wilson, J5, MJ (before the alterations), Jon Gibson, Robert Johnson, Andrae Crouch, Shirley Caesar, the backing band for Millie Jackson,Ceelo Green and now Gnarls Barkley. I'm tired of typing, Hell!!
