Back in early 2004 I realised the grime scene was rollin again. I had always liked 2step and 4x4 and other stuff, but never good enough to mc over it. Now and then I wud try to spit over hip hop, ironically even slewin my bredrin A Star, but that was jus for jokes neway.
Neway, Forward Riddim came round April time, and i was luvin it. Since then i started to spit in my head wen i was walkin around. I found out that Mark Kaye (A Star) was as passionate for grime as i was, so i got my sound card, my dads mic and we have started to climb the ladder. Nick Higham (Technik or Nicked It) my brother busts with us on some tracks as well and he has a sicko ability.Have you performed in front of an audience?We aint started spitting live yet. We are close to a few radio stations and when we have got enough material, will send some mixtapes to local urban radio stations and see what they think.
Your musical influences
For me personally, DJ Luck and Mc Neat, So Solid Crew, Oxide and Neutrino for the old skool and Lethal B, Kano and Bashy for the new school have been people i am always lookin up to and aspiring to.What equipment do you use?
Mic is attached to my computer, got a decent sound card and i just put the beats on the computer and spit over them usin cool edit.Yes bruv. We are from Whitecroft estate u get me. Recently bought a couple a beats from Jake in Colney and will be busting a MiXcD soon init.
