Band/artist history
Sameer (lead vocalist), Omair (bass guitars) and I, Zaid (lead guitars) have been good friends since elementary school. In 9th grade we felt that we should give singing and song-writing a shot. After hearing each other, it was quite apparent that Sameer would take up lead vocals for the band. Following a modern style of singing fused with the basic principles from the classical style, Sameer showed sheer versatility. Lyrics were always written when both Sameer and I got together. At first, our lyrics were of poor quality and very loosely put together. However, as is the case with most practices, the more we worked on our wordings, the better we got. Our first break-through was our first song "Imtihaan". More recently though, we've been working on putting a whole album together. This summer we've added five new songs to the list of four songs we already had. It has been already decided that our album will not be commercial but in fact for our own record and for our fans. We don't want to give too much away about our album but the most we can say is that its theme is going to be about reflecting on oneself and going through the motions of one's life and existence itself be it in any form of expression-anger, sorrow, thrill, joy, or complete disinterest in life. Have you performed in front of an audience?
We live in Saudi Arabia. We love it. Special moments? Hell yeah. The response we got from our first ever gig, really special, especially from the aunties (always a hard crowd).
