The featured song Diamond in the Rough is one of the first complete songs I ever wrote. It is currently being reworked in my new studio with updated lyrics/vocal melody and lower pitched vocals. This version holds a special place in my heart though. It was recorded in 1990 on a Fostex Cassette 4-track with no effects other than the distortion on the guitar. 10 tracks were recorded, bouncing down to 2 tracks repeatedly. Very raw recording but it shows the direction I was going in musically at the time.
