We are My Silence, a predominantly female rock band from South London. We mainly write our own music and are starting to make a name for ourselves in the local area.Band/artist history
OK, long band history so I will cut it down:
Started with Molly, Zoe, Kate and Big Jen. Little Jen joined. Big Jen quit. Little Jen quit. Lack of drummer. Harry stood in. Found Jack. Jack had to quit. Paul stood in. Dave sort of joined. Then quit. Got Katie as a second guitarist. Molly quit. Got Matt as a new drummer and lalala that brings us up to date...
So 7 drummers later the line up is now:
Zoe - vocals
Katie - guitar and backing vocals
Kate - bass
Matt - drums

We will play pretty much anywhere that will take us (churches and infant schools included - woohoo!) and are starting to branch out now to larger venues. Wembley Arena, here we come...
Your musical influences
We're all into quite different music and when people ask us this question it's so hard to know what to put... Our musics more of a blend of sounds - alternative rock, grunge, goth rock... its got female vocals unlike most of the unsigned bands around, definitely worth a listen!Anything else?
We may be female fronted but we are nothing like Kittie. Or Sugarcoma. Or The Donnas. Grrrrrr...
We are here to prove that girls can rock just as well as the guys :P
