Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
A grungy Punk/rocker and a semi-goth/geek started playing guitar and bass at the same time.. learned..and grew as musicians in their own time and thru their own methods.
One night at a friends house.. they met a pseudo-hippie/stoner who'd always wanted to play drums. Set up a date to jam together.. and Boom.. the first stage of mYndzYe was born. For a year and a half they wrote songs together.. and tried out multiple singers.. all of which to no avail. Suddenly.. from out of the clouds of doubt.. came a light of hope. Their first gig was set, and they played like they'd never played before. Thru the first gig.. they met a lad. A standard looking college guy. Who had an incredible knack for finding melody in that which felt like it had none. With the addition of the new singer, there was nothing to stop mYndzYe from playing.. and showing what they're all capable of. A beautiful mix of agression, vulnerability, and harmony. Listen to hear some real truth.. Lost said drummer.. but regenerated that missing limb.. now we're together again.. with a new member.. an upgrade to the system.. and soon we'll open the mind, heart, and soul of everyone we touch..
