I was first introduced to beat making by the master, Don Da Vinci. I've been making beats for about three or four years now, and I want to get into the commercial aspect of beat making by supplying beats to regional MCs.
I also have some beats up on Myspace.com, but the four song limit is pretty weak.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
No, strictly beat making.
Your musical influences
A lot of my beats are recognizably influenced by Timbaland, Scott Storch, Dr Dre, The Neptunes, Eminem, etc. because I listen to a lot of songs by those producers.
What equipment do you use?
FL Studio 7, Cool Edit Pro 2, Yamaha PSR 290 keyboard, and a Sony turntable for vinyl sampling.
