My Fortunate Downfall
In the little town of Valentine where Country music is king and the scene is dead...or never lived...one band takes a stand. With the punk D.I.Y. ethic exceeding its daily recommended value in this indie/emo rocker, My Fortunate Downfall is carefully plotting a takeover. So throw away your cowboy hats and get rid of your chaps because it's time to rock MFD style!Band/artist history
After playing in several bands during highschool, drummer Phil Mayhew wanted to try something new. Once he graduated from school in Wisconsin, he returned home to Valentine, Nebraska where he set up a recording studio in his bedroom. Behold, My Fortunate Downfall was born. Late nights and early mornings, while he isn't working construction, Mayhew writes and records music. With his knowledge of various different instruments, he records guitar, bass, piano and drums for all his songs.Your musical influences
