Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Math With Dykes started out as a punk project with two members: Dylan Smith and Andrew Brown. They wrote, recorded, and released "48 Hours To Live" all in one weekend. After that, Dylan decided to keep the punk drums, but replace the traditional instruments with techno influenced melodies. Andrew lost almost all influence in the music, and Dylan began making music on his own. He made songs for an album titled "Admit Not Defeat" but it was never released. A few old songs, 'The Decline' and 'The Room', were released together as "The Bedroom Sessions". Lately, Dylan has been working hard on his new technocore EP called "Life Is A Tragedy". The 5 songs will later be released along with 8-12 more on the "Compromise Your Values" album.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Live shows will be organized soon to promote the release of "Compromise Your Values". Expect an exciting performance with lots of crowd participation.
