MV is a member of the South Link crew and here he is showcasing his solo projects. Coming from a musical family, he has a sharp ear to what sounds good or not. A highly skilled beatsmith that is very able with all types of equipment. Also a conscious lyricist with a lot of meaning in his rhymes that encourages positivity in Hip Hop and in Life.
Band/artist history
'The Link, as they are popularly known is formed by none other than Zobec, Wordsmith, MV, Supremo and D-G-TAL. Zobec and Wordsmith started rhyming together in school, Wordsmith was also into breaking and used to perform in various venues in Gibraltar. MV also attended the same school and was tight with Wordsmith and they went to university together in Northampton U.K. whilst Zobec attended University in Kentucky U.S.A.. Wordsmith and Zobec kept in touch and kept on writing whilst MV got into producing and later on rhyming too. When they finished their studies they went back to Gibraltar and formed South Link. Later on Supremo who is a Guitarist and Keyboard player teamed up with them to add another dimension to the South Link sound. And more recently, D-G-TAL, an MC/Producer from another crew also joined The Link bringing his raw, rugged and dirty delivery to the concoction. Our newest member, an MC by the name of Word Widow, is only 15 but is proving to be a very promising talent - watchout for this bwoy!!!!! South Link have since been recording new tracks and appearing in Hip Hop events in Gibraltar and in nearby Spain. Now, the aim is to spread the word further, to all you Heads around the world. Real Hip Hop!!! From the Rock!!! Non-Stop!!!!!!
