True 2 Truth Anthem

What up! I write all of my own material. I do mostly solos but I love collabs also. More than likely you'll catch me recording with Just Jake and True 2 Truth. My name is Kymee Dawn. I am a singer/songwriter/pianist. Music is my passion; and my fuel for life. Every word of every song comes from my own personal experiences or about issues that I feel very connected with. My love for what I do runs deep in my blood. I come from a very musical background. My father sparked my interest in music when I was very young and he was a live entertainer for my whole upbringing, and he was signed with StarGem Records in Nashville, TN. I do what I do because I love it with my heart and soul. As for the personal "me"--I am a sister, a daughter, a granddaughter, an aunt. I generally spend my time creating my music but in my spare time you can catch me giving my nephews piggy back rides and spending as much time as I can with my family. My nephews are absolutely the light of my life and are very dear to my heart. I am very close to my brothers, my sister, my mother and my father. I have a few friends that I truly trust and I'd do anything for any of them. I've been through hell, I've had my heart shattered once, Even with everything that I've been through, I still feel like a lucky person. I had a complete, loving family growing up and that in itself makes me feel blessed. I love going out and having a good time and I love meeting new people. This website is just a way for me to expand my fan base, and put myself out there for the world to see. I love sharing my gift with others and using it to bring people together in any way possible. I've met with Warner Brother Records in NYC, and I feel like I've really accomplished some things with my music. I'm ready now to take it to the next level and reach a little higher.
