Story behind the song
Originally produced as my second song, this song was put on the shelf as I decided to run with Davidic - but one dance group in Colorado loved the old version of Hannukah so much that they requested it be in the CD. I have since given it the final energy it needed, as well as its meaning and context, as originally the song was titled "Breakout" but since the dance team also goes into prisons - such a term is probably not desirable by the warden who approves of some of the program, and with the season of leaving the darkness behind for the Light of the World (Yeshua, the Messiah) upon us in the upcoming season of Hannukah, the song title was more appropriately changed to reflect leaving behind the ignorant traditions of the past to run into the truth of the Torah and the true Light of the World: the living Torah, the Messiah, Yeshua.
Lyrics
The dark cloud is fading. ...Into the light, out of this dark cloud... Go. Into the light, you must go. Go, and do not look back. ...Out of this dark cloud, I have come. ...Into the light, I have seen the Son.
