Story behind the song
I grew up not far from New York City and saw the World Trade Center being built. I never dreamt I would witness the violent destruction of it and the lives of people within. I was profoundly depressed and did not touch the piano for several weeks. When I finally sat down to play, this is what came out. It starts in a light mood but darkens throughout.
