Words, music, art, life. Let's change the world.
Multi-genre artist, singer/songwriter, poet, lyricist. No longer able to perform due to disability, uses synthetic vocals or instruments for some of my songs. I've removed most of my older music over the years, but I kept Queen of Vampires because it's iconic and will always remain forever in my heart. For 20 years, everyone knew me as Vryl. I am still and always be Vryl. Vryl was born from Vryl Valkyrie, a virtual woman in Second Life, my alter ego, a place of refuge and artistic expression and from that place I wrote poetry and composed music. Yes, I will always be Vryl. But after Paul died, I needed a rebirth. That's why I changed to Norwrei. Writing and music have always been my sanctuary, my healing stone and my secret garden, but recently I've decided to start exploring what is possible with AI. I love people and getting to know people. If you want to know me or if you want to collaborate, please feel free to contact me. I'm also open to writing lyrics for your instrumentals. I am an American woman currently in France, so it may time to get back to you. Thanks for reading my page and listening to my music. Special thanks to SoundClick for still being here after all the years.

Lyrics
Sitting on the edge Of an empty screen, Endless reflections Beyond what I can see. All the times I tried, All the times I cried, All the times I nearly died... God said I can, So, I did. I thought I was strong, I thought I was brave, I traveled the world And prayed for the Fallen... I've hiked the Rockies... Ate crawfish... On the Bayou... Broke bread with a man... Who lived in a box... On a lonely... Street in Paris... All because God said I can, So, I did. I've been rich, I've been poor, I've been cold, I've been lost I've been young, And now I'm wiser. But through it all, I've been told that God said I can, So, I did. But when I couldn't, God did. And when there's no one, God Is. I've hated and I've loved I've been hurt, And I've hurt others But in the end, I'm not the same, Because God Is. Ooh.. God Is... hmm... God Is... I wasn't strong. I wasn't brave. But God said I could, So, I was. I learned to love. I learned to forgive. Because God said I could, So, I did. I've learned to see people, From within... Not as others see them... Because... God said I should, So, I did. As my life journeys on, I know I can, Because God said I will, So, I am. So, I am...
