Take Me Away

Paul Gannell is a veteran of the stage who doesn't just play musiche lives it. Emerging from the loud, smoke-filled, "dark and dingy" Australian pub rock circuit of the late 1970s, Paul forged a sound that is a high-octane mixing pot of Rock, Funk, and Blues. With a career spanning decades, Paul has earned his stripes touring alongside international icons and homegrown legends alike. His impressive track record includes supports for Def Leppard, Eurythmics, Suzi Quatro, and Canned Heat, as well as Australian royalty like Cold Chisel, Rose Tattoo, and Ian Moss. Paul was also a member of Sydney based 80's Rock band Avion in which he toured all over Australia and was involved in the making of the Album White Noise. When Paul picks up the guitar, you aren’t just hearing a performance; you’re hearing the history of Australian rock and roll.
