I find myself coming back to the Lord, coming back to the fellowship and daily walk. It’s always a good thing to check the lines of communication with Him on a daily basis, you can find Him in the Bible, he will meet you there.

Ive written hundreds of songs over the past 50 years. I love Jesus, the word of God, people and music. I play guitar, bass and sing. Thank you for listening!
My music is about the new life found in Jesus Christ. He is our access to the Father and is worthy of all praise and glory. He has taken our sins away by the selfless sacrifice of His death upon the cross. He is deserving of songs and worship. The sound of my music is influenced by the delta blues and artists that have followed through the 60s and 70s who have taken this music and written folk, Americana, and Rock n Roll. Thank you for listening to my songs, and also the collaboration projects, thank you to all who contributed to these songs..

Lyrics
Turn Again The way of the Lord is right and true There is no wicked way in Him Let’s check our hearts to see if we are in the way See if we be in the way Let’s check to see if we have strayed Check to see if the lines of communication are still open Are we still open Have we called on Him lately or has sin and distraction Turned our gaze away from God Has false gods come in to take His place Have we been fooled again Into following something or someone who is not true Who is not true Have we called on Him lately or has sin and distraction turned our gaze away from God Turn again to the Everlasting Savior Who’s still knocking at your door Let the King Of Glory come in For He is gracious and willing to forgive If we but turn from our wicked ways and turn If we but turn to follow His way If we but turn to the light where there is no darkness at all If we but turn Turn again to the Everlasting Savior Who’s still knocking at your door Let the King Of Glory come in For He is gracious and wiling to forgive If we but turn turn again to the Everlasting Savior Who’s still knocking knocking at your door Let the King Of Glory come in For He is gracious and willing to forgive For He is gracious and willing to forgive Words and music by John Matteson All rights reserved
