Story behind the song
Earlier I recorded a piece for Dumas' other character, the Count of Monte Cristo, which was frequently streamed. Thought I'd do the same for D"Artagnan being that it was the first serious book I ever read when I was very young. Back in 2004 when I was one of the first people to sign up for the website of Moody Blues co-founder, Mike Pinder, I took the user name D'Artagnan, which was kind of presumptuously brash, but it was taken in good humour and led to me communicating with Mike a number of times.
