wanted to make an angry/industrialised version of this slick Nile Rogers pieced together Bowie song from 1983 - I never thought the OG was brilliant, certainly not Bowie Brilliant but Rogers took a snippet and turned it into a cool groove for sure.
bowie heavy cover ramsey
some people get by with a little understanding, some people get by with a whole lot more..
think back to when Gary Numan wrote and recorded 'Cars' in 1979 and if we don't think we've lost something we're crazy...but if we think it's coming back anytime soon then we are complete fools... can you still recall in the juke box hall when the music played and the world spun round to a brand new sound in those far off days.. in their blue suede shoes they would scream and shout as they sang the blues, let it all hang out.. rock and roll..

Story behind the song
Bowie bored already with the whole new romantic scene, probably as he got bored quickly so yeah teaming with Nile (the go to producer of the early 80's) seemed the right thing to do and you know, they were right...lol!
Lyrics
put on your red shoes and dance the night away...under the moonlight, the serious moonlight...
