Exploring indian scale is always an adventure. This recording is based on several month of study and improvisation over the raga bhairavi. Bass and a funky groove set the pace for the song. Then a clay drum joins and the pace builds up. After a breakdown the melodic part begins featuring analog synths. then a soothing flute joins. Finally the pace is coming down again with a calming guitar and flute arrangement. In the outro the flute has the final say.
