Our church needed a new song to close out our communion service. We had a wonderful hymn, It Is Well With My Soul, that had rather become a sacred cow. This song was written with similar thematic and emotional patterns to replace the song. When we recorded our CD, In This Moment, this song just didn't pop. This was one attemp to resurrect the recording. Ultimately, I scrapped this version and went with a whole new thought on this song. But here you go, me trying to do it!

We have tasted the bread of life; we have drunk from the cup of our salvation; Now we offer praise to You, God on high. In the challenge of our daily lives, may we recall this moment, and remember Your grace freely giv'n. Holy Jesus, thank You for Your sacrifice of love. May we be ever faithful in Your sight.
