19 tones to the octave fun.
Well it all started with a "communal variations project" at www.youngcomposers.com (alternately the Young Composers Yahoo! group). Something called "Mozart K1 Variations," located in the "Motive" folder. So I thought I'd do a variation in 19 tones to the octave. Why 19? Believe it or not, 19 is the logical next step after 12. It has good approximations of all the normal-12 intervals and some other nice ones to boot.
15/16 is, by the way, a beautiful time signature.
