Definitely one of the newest, and quite possibly the freshest, most unique bands that Calgary Alberta has seen in quite some time..."A Cry of Hounds" is ready to infect your ears, your mind, your heart. This band has successfully captured the sounds of some great 60's garage punk with these songs. Based on 16 b-grade horror flicks with such titles as "Beast of Yucca Flats", "Teenage Zombies" and "Creature From the Haunted Sea", this music will bring a smile to your face and get your whole body grooving to the music! All 16 tunes are now captured on one glorious garage punk rave-up album called GARAGE MONSTERS.

John Peels Ghost John Peels ghost came up to me one day I could tell what it was trying to say Now I dont mean to sound hard, but this aint nothing new Ive heard a couple more that sound like you The band rehearsed that night and the ghost stopped by I dig the sound, it said, but I dont know why Yeah your drummer is cool, you got a couple licks But it sure aint no Teenage Kicks You may never be misunderstood But that dont mean that you aint any good A visionary sound and apocalypse dreams Do you think its something we all need? Apocalypse sound and some visionarys greed Do you think its something we all need? JMB May 6 2008

Nice track. I have been cruising around soundclick for ages and not heard anything with this amount of energy. Spot on. Love the sixtees organ. You have got a personality to your music that is sadly lacking in most of the stuff I've heard on here. Keep up the good work.
