Dianna Watson (Kiwi Kate as she's known) is a most popular DJ from Woodville, NewZealand and a great supporter of Indie Artists locally and abroad! A wonderful singer/songwriter herself and without doubt one of the best yodellers in all of the land! Her popular song "The Good Twizel Outhouse" which has received many airplays Internationally was a joint effort between herself and the duo from Canada "Simply Two". Bill Bodell of Arrow Music (NZ) produced the original two tracks, (Kiwi Kate/vocals/guitar) and thus ending in the hands of "Simply Two" in Canada. The one & only "Curly Tom" Cunningham (production manager/sideman) puts the final embellishment and cadence to this amazing "CanaZealand Music Country" work!! Bill Bodell, fondly known as "THE SAX MAN" learnt harmonica from his dad as a young boy. At the tender age of 12, Bill learnt piano then progressed at the age of 15 yrs onto saxophone. He purchased his first saxophone at 17yrs, joining up with "TheComanders" band, a 16 piece big band playing 5th sax or 3rd alto. For the next 20 or so years Bill formed several bands ending up with "THE CITY SWINGERS”". A top 5 bit show band. From the early 50's to the late 60's Bill and his band performed all over New Zealand. During a popular gig in Palmerston North N.Z. , Mr. Acker Bilk (touring N.Z.) was performing at the opera house at Palmerston North. When he had finished his large concert, he walked to the venue where Bill and the boys were playing. Acker walked in, hopped up on stage, wiped the mouthpiece of Bill's clarinet and played with Bill and the boys until closing at a round 1am. From the 70's to 80's, Bill joined another band "TREK" performing again at many venues up and down New Zealand. Bill recorded his first album "California Blue" 1997, upon returning from Australia, where he was the principle Tudor for woodwind, Brass and harmonica, at the Joondalup City School of Music. Bill now operates his own small recording studio at Foxton Beach, where he produces albums for mainly country artists plus his own albums "SAX ON THE BEACH' and his brand new radio demo "SAX GONE COUNTRY”. Bill is also an on air announcer at Radio Foxton catering for mainly indi artists with his popular show "Afternoon Country Concert"

Lyrics
Randolph the Red Nosed Roo By: Simply Two guests Kiwi Kate & Curly Tom Verse I I bet you never heard of the Xmas when Santa and Rudolph got too much sun It was a hot summer’s night near the Twizel Outhouse they finished all their visits, all but one Santa knew of Kiwi and Curly Tom and a Roo, named Randolph and his red shiny nose No one would know the difference, so with Curly Tom as Santa with Randolph to the sky they arose (Hear comes Curly Tom, here comes Curly Tom, and Randolph the red-nosed Roo!!) Verse II Randolph led that sleigh like an old pro and Tom fit Santa’s suit to a tee All went well till they got to the last house and he couldn’t fit down the chimney Curly said “Randolph, what will we do mate, we’ll be in trouble if we can’t get in, we have to get in the house somehow, to give all the children their toys” So Randolph jumped down from the rooftop and kicked the door down, oh that Randolph he made such a terrible noise (what to do Curly Tom, there is something wrong, Randolph’s a kicking Roo!!) Verse III The kids they’d snuck out of their beds that night and were waiting up for Santa with glee When the bang from the door crashing downwards scared them all one Xmas Eve When they went to the door to see what happened, their fears suddenly grew Cause there running off in the distance was Randolph, the red-nosed runaway Roo (What to do Curly Tom, ya better phone Kiwi, You got to find the Roo!!) Verse IV Curly Tom rushed down from the rooftop and settled down all the girls and boys He used the phone to call our Kiwi, as he dailed, the children opened their toys (Ring…Hello!!) “Kiwi we got us some trouble, the Roo’s running scared your way, I need you to go and find him cause without him I can’t fly the sleigh!!” (And Kiwi said) “Oh my godness Curly Tom!, he’ll be in the Outhouse, the Twizel Outhouse and won’t be out for days You just make your way home and leave this to Santa, he’ll pick up the sleigh” (On his way Curly Tom, Kiwi’s worried about, Randolph the runaway Roo!!) Verse (1/2) Now Tom said goodbye to all the children and said Merry Xmas to He made his way home to Kiwi’s to help comfort poor old Randolph the red-nosed Roo! Tag: Randolph the red nosed Roo Poor Ole Randolph the red nosed Roo (together) Kiwi says: “Tee Hee Hee, Merry Xmas to one and all ! ! !” Tom says: “Hoo hoo hoo Merry Xmas to one and all ! ! !”
