A happy song about a girl I had a crush on.
Melodic, inventive pop/rock music. Singer/songwriter; Adult Alternative.
I've played in two bands that got small label deals... The Awakening in the mid 1980's, and One Hundred Days, in the 90's. Now, I just write whatever I want to.
I work at a studio full time, and the bulk of my job is writing, so I am always having to come up with material. The problem is, I spend way too little time on my own stuff after hours! I'm trying to change!!
My musical style is a scatalogical blend of everything I love about music...Melody, harmony, quirky shifts of mood, a constant desire to not do what is expected.
Story behind the song
There was a this cute little Italian girl named Natalie, who worked for a major record label. I met her a few times and developed a crush on her. She had jet black hair with these violent red stripes through it. She was a QT! So I wrote this song about her. I'm not sure she knows about it to this day!!

QT Natalie kiss me, and I'm feeling something magically,
Pretty sweet to say the least, want you only to be near to me,
I’m leaving my cares behind, I’m calling your name to find…
QT Natalie, QT Natalie, QT Natalie, I love the way your red highlights shine up upon the screen inside my retinas,
QT Natalie, QT Natalie, QT Natalie.
Someday I might meet your eyes, Meeting mine, catching me by surprise,
Will you know the way I feel, what if none of this is even real?
I’m leaving my fears behind, I’m hoping someday to find,
QT Natalie, QT Natalie, QT Natalie, I love the way your red highlights shine up upon the screen inside my retinas,
The image of your highlights always beams into the shadow of my longing for you,
QT Natalie, QT Natalie, QT Natalie
I’m letting my feelings show, I think I want you to know,
QT Natalie, QT Natalie, QT Natalie, I love the way your red highlights shine up upon the screen inside my retinas,
I dream of running my hands through those soft caressing highlights of my fantasies,
QT Natalie, QT Natalie, QT Natalie.
