Story behind the song
Homelessness is a terrible pain no one should have to endure. Let's pray that the people who are homeless now will soon have a home 'they can call their own' and be productive citizes and glorify God in the midst of all that they will go through.
Lyrics
THE HOME PROJECT www.dresdenmusic.com (A PRAYER IN SONG) There's a place somewhere I can call my own there's a home for me beyond all that I can see There's a Man who promised me He will never let me go and His promise I believe and I know I'm not alone. And there is a Book that tells me that I am loved with love beyond compare love forever always there Holy Love from heaven comfort me tonight as I lay my head in this lonely site Let me taste your goodness give me bread of life feed my hungry soul with the Word of God. Be my strength, my shield keep me always warm make me whole again I believe I will be home. I will not fear...... Music and Lyrics by: Liselotte Gabrielle Arboleda © 2004 -BMI John 6:35: "Jesus declared 'I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to me will never go hungry and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." As I was driving during a cold night during Christmas 2003 I felt the coldness in my heart. I was thankful to have a home to go to but I realized there were so many who didn't. But, in the midst of this despair, the good news is that we all have a HEAVENLY HOME and we can, from time to time visit it while still here on earth, by having fellowship with our Maker.
