Arise was formed when two former frontmen from respective Heavy Metal bands met in 1994 and decided to try something different. Christian lyrical themes combined with acoustic and pop rock sensibilities make up the sound. The love and grace of God makes up the spirit of the project.

Story behind the song
Rob was really into this new Enuff Z'Nuff CD at the time he wrote this - particularly an acoustic number at the end of the album. This was Rob's philosophy and attempt at expressing simple praise.
