Arise was formed when two former frontmen from respective Heavy Metal bands met in 1994 and decided to try something different. Christian lyrical themes combined with acoustic and pop rock sensibilities make up the sound. The love and grace of God makes up the spirit of the project.

Story behind the song
I always loved this song, but I wanted to alter the lyrics to fit my newfound faith and to fit the themes of the album. I had the opportunity to speak with Brian Tatler and Sean Harris of Diamond Head via phone and they both gave their blessing for us to record and distribute the song with the lyric changes. Sean later faxed me written permission as well. Thanks guys!
