Blend in with the day, the shadows and light of humanity, the sights and sounds of a diner, and the hope for love.

Story behind the song
I saw a blue one day that reminded me of the color of pilot lights, when you start a gas stove, which brought me to a restaurant setting -- and I realized there are so many people in the world we never actually see... so many thoughts that go unanswered This was one of the first songs I recorded; its young in spirit and gentle in my heart.
Lyrics
Peering through the pilot light I saw you Take a bite of your usual apple pie I wish I could come forward and ask you If you might see anything in me? I believe that there is love forever Do you think that too? Could you give that much? I can't always promise you fair weather But I would love you whole till my heart slows REFRAIN: Will you know my name and could you love me? Even after all the children have grown We could travel to the ageless wonders We would never ever feel alone You're here all the time, the same order, Searching, seeking, looking, longing through the days Would it hurt to just give you my number? Maybe it would motivate my fate Say you know that this is your one lifetime Just one chance to be and give and to receive Maybe we could do that for each other Or maybe I'll just refill your coffee... BRIDGE: Will you love me and honor me for all time? Will you talk to me and give me just one chance to shine? We are all just one big sea of faces Just a silhouette against the light of day If we do not put ourselves forward We'll remain this way Unnoticed till we fade away We would never ever Never ever feel alone, alone
