Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lonnie Milton Dunn. I was born into a musical family and was singing in church at the age of four. I learned to play the mandolin and guitar at an early age. I love to sing and play a lot of different styles of music. I started playing in clubs when I was a teenager, then later started working in construction and became a blaster. That’s my “real job” - blowing up rock. I have made a little money from music, but money’s not the real issue. It’s the crave of it, because of the love of it! I have another love in my life. First God, then family - my wife and two sons. I love them very much. They were a big part of the reason for me finding a manager down on Music Row in Nashville a few years back. I thought it would really help me break into the music business. I don’t have that manager anymore, but I did meet some of Nashville’s top songwriters. I got to write with them and sing a few demos. I even got to sing on Music City Tonight with Crook and Chase. I played a while in clubs after that, but then felt like I needed to dedicate more time to God and my family, so I put my music career on hold for a while. But as they say, “When music is in your blood, you can’t stay away.” So I am back to give it another try. I believe that God gave me a talent for music and I’m ready to share it with the world!

Lyrics
The Note On The Door I wrote this note to let you know how I feel And to say that my love for you is real I?m so sorry how things went on and on I pray these words convince you to come back home But straight from my heart to the bottle Fills the glass full of sorrow That put tears on the floor And on the note on the door Just in case you come back while I?m gone In the mirror I just hate the man I see Cause he?s the one that caused your leaving me And he?s the fool who had it all but wasn?t strong How did you put up with me for so long Straight from my heart to the bottle Fills the glass full of sorrow That put tears on the floor And on the note on the door Just in case you come back while I?m gone What I?d give to just take back the things I?ve done But this old drinking really ain?t no place to run But straight from my heart to the bottle Fills the glass full of sorrow That put tears on the floor And on the note on the door Just in case you come back while I?m gone Just in case you come back while I?m gone Lyrics and Music by: Lonnie Dunn/ Gary Bennett /Ted Day
