Story behind the song
I wrote a book, and then I decided to write the whole story as a concept album.
Lyrics
Rudy and Stella are on their way to the island in the sea. The island is just one big cliff as far as they can see. The ship reaches a stormy zone and the captain refuses to go any further. There’s always a storm around the island; A magic storm to keep the sailors away. The two travellers insist to go on in the emergency boat. They are caught by a stream that pulls the boat towards the island. Slowly, in a spiral form, they are drawn to the forsaken place. A cave appears and the stream continues inside of the cliff. It is very dark in here and the stream still pulls them in.
