When we leave this earth we answer to the real judge Jesus Christ and we will stand before the Lord and give an account for what we have done on this earth. Salvation is ours to claim but we will gain and lose rewards based on our works.
Death is absolute and there is no way it can be dwarted we will die and give an account for our lives. Once we die then we will arise and face the Lord the King of Host.
