tell me who else youve told coz everyone should care about the love you've given across the years i dream of divergant horizons spread infront of me ain't where will the apple fall but from which tree omelas still cries out i don't know how she dare but if your not the hero i guess i'd still be in there i'm coming back to see her raze her to the ground theres a fire inside of me that wont go out i'm gonna sing 'i love you child, its gonna be allright put your hand with mine and we'll find the light.' of course i'll have to watch her crumble feel her world torn down but soon i'll get to hear your laughter and see joy unbound some may ask why'd i do it 'why not just walk away?' thats wont ever change the fact that the child was me
