Story behind the song
The second collaboration between Mark and me. We worked on this in rehearsals to build up the arrangement and then it was recorded after we had written the lyrics and refined them in the same lager-fuelled brainstorming sessions that also produced the lyrics for "Dreaming Of Vicky" (I still have all the original song drafts). I sang the lead vocal and the harmony on this one. This was described in my original song notes as 'Country Rock In G'.
