Story behind the song
Sometimes I just feel like a failure, and I realize that I can try my wife's patience from time to time. I was feeling like an exceptional loser when I wrote this song. It's sort of my apology for... everything. It hurts a little to think about it, because, I haven't necessarily had any huge successes since I wrote this song... granted, I think I have captured the emotion I was trying for, so I'll take that as a small success.
Lyrics
When you look at me and everything you see is failure it makes me sad. Then you talk to me and everything you say is failure and incompetence. I've been trying for so long to be just a little bit better. I've been trying to be the one you want me to. And I'll keep trying just as long as you let me Please just don't be too angry if I let you down.
