PRODUCTION STYLE Beatwize's production style consists of jazz, soul, R&B, and rock (classic and modern) sampling with heavy drums - usually including hard kick-hits. His style has been compared to the production concepts of J Dilla, Kanye West, and Just Blaze. GROUPS, COLLECTIVES, & PROJECTS Beatwize is found in a few groups and collectives. He currently leads the alternative collective known as "Imprint Entertainment" (www.myspace.com/imprintent) with the New York hip-hop group iLLanova (Fate L, Bryan Atkins, and Achillez). He is also working with the hip-hop duo from Cleavland - Strategics (TreaZon & D-Man) - in a group running with the name Sound Sketch. Sound Sketch has an EP out (Sound Sketch: The EP) and are currently working on their first LP (Sketched in Stone). Fate L and Beatwize also work together in a hip-hop duo of their own - The Part-Time Prophets. Their first EP, "The Theory of Truth" is coming soon. Another Imprint duo consists of Beatwize and Bryan Atkins, Intellibeat. Their first album (Intellibeat) is coming soon. Beatwize also plans on doing an EP (The Wizdom Musik EP) with rapper Conflix under the name Mentality.
