Story behind the song
I stayed late after work one afternoon...and this beat just popped into my head....so I started freestyling....and it kinda sounded good. So, I wrote the lyrics down - tweeked them - then laid down a track with a melody - and recorded the whole thing in about 2 hours. I have always had a thing for hip-hop since I was a kid. DC Talk, P.I.D., D.O.C., Michael Peace, S.F.C., D-boy and E.T.W all had a bigger effect on me than I thought.
