Harpman64 is an off shoot of Dr Hoos Blues band. I welcome the opportunity to push the limits of blues and drag it screaming into the 21st century. Blues is a feeling. Not some little ,cute 12 bar piece of treacle. You need to be in the bottom of the barrel before you can feel the weight of life.

Story behind the song
Serge and I formed a band in the early 1980s. He had just arrived in new Zealand from Montreal via India and had a real founding in the music of the French Canadian style. I was learning harp and together we put together some interesting folk/blues.
