I'm not going to blow smoke up your nether regions, pretending to be some other person saying how great Jim-n-Lisa are. Originality and high quality productions are important to us. Please judge for yourself. We hope you find something enjoyable. Hi, I'm Jim. This music is created in my computer based studio. I play electric, acoustic, and bass guitars, keyboards, flute, saxes, Wx7 wind controller, electronic drums, and I've been doing some singing of late. The performance/recording technique is improvisational and mostly recorded in real time, one track at a time by me. Lisa sings and creates most of her own vocal melodies and harmony lines. Thanks for listening, - Jim

Story behind the song
This song is dedicated to a friend and champion of indie artists: Steve Gilmore. It's a stretch for me to tackle reggae, but when MikeK of Songplanet dared me to try a reggae tune, my mind turned immediately to Steve Gilmore, a man who knows and loves his reggae. From the inception of the lyrics to the playing of the parts, I was thinking of our friend across the pond. I'm relieved that he likes the tune and he found it satisfactory. High praise after so brazenly entering his playground. Cheers to Steve and all fans of the genre.

He said, "Find yourself an Island, Don't think about it son," His gaze cut deep into my eyes, He said, "That's where you belong." I could have been a Rasta man, I love the Reggae so, ... I found myself in Jamaica, The man handed me a pound, I held out my hand with some dollars, He laughed and said, "It grow out of de ground." I could have been a Rasta man, ...
