Story behind the song
A friend of mine passed away recently. His name was Buster and he was a 'pimp'; an old school brotha. I met him back in the day and we were friends for many years. This is a Trib to him. He once told me: "We have to play the hand we have, I pimp ho's and you pimp music".......When we first met--in a club where my band was playin'-- we hit it off right away. We use to sit in his laid out Caddy(yep,it had a continental kit)and hit a J and listen to his favorite band back then--WAR. One time we were checkin' out Cisco Kid and he looked over to me and said "That's F**ked up"...I said 'what you mean'? ...Cisco went in the stash and gave Poncho tha Mad Dog 20/20 and kept the Jack Daniels for hisself"...we cracked up....If you got that then you're ready to Walk Tha Walk...just like we do..........I tried to capture a 'lil of that ole WAR sound.....SANIFU
