Story behind the song
I had been looking for a way to use this song. I actually recorded it over two tears ago, and never found any lyrics that stuck. I had been looking for a project to do with Apryl, a good friend of mine and a talent in her own right, and got my hands on some of her poetry. As soon as I read the lines “It’s a winter wonder whoa day, it’s a blistery blustey blow day” I knew my search was over, and a new song was born.

It’s a winter wonder whoa day It’s a blistery blustery blow day I’m outta my pajamas and I’m starin’ at the t.v. screen Gotta go out in the snow day It’s bitter cold, but better out than yesterday As I’m here, at home on a Wednesday With fingers crossed I hear her say to run and put my books away I can go play, there’s no school today. And so I’m calling all of my friends I’m grabbing everything I’ll need I’ll make the most of what chance sends So off I go, and don’t wait up for me See you tomorrow (X4)
