Jim-n-Lisa play electronic, acoustic, world/new age, jazz, rock, and other styles; sometimes, all at once.
I'm not going to blow smoke up your nether regions, pretending to be some other person saying how great Jim-n-Lisa are. Originality and high quality productions are important to us. Please judge for yourself. We hope you find something enjoyable. Hi, I'm Jim. This music is created in my computer based studio. I play electric, acoustic, and bass guitars, keyboards, flute, saxes, Wx7 wind controller, electronic drums, and I've been doing some singing of late. The performance/recording technique is improvisational and mostly recorded in real time, one track at a time by me. Lisa sings and creates most of her own vocal melodies and harmony lines. Thanks for listening, - Jim

Story behind the song
The growing feeling that the US is not a place where I belong, led me to dream of wandering. My good friend Alderman from Sweden made me curious and after investigating, I learned that I have Swedish ancestors as well as the Dutch I already knew about (Millers and Johnsons)
Lyrics
They're calling me home from Valhalla, (repeat) It's a pull from across the sea, Or maybe it's the wanderlust, Alive in me. (repeat) Sail away with me my love, To the sunset of our lives, We've been sailing against the tide, But it feels like it might be turning, It's just a feeling I've inside. Please be happy, Please be mine, Please be careful, So we'll have time, ... to sail away. So we'll have the time, To sail away. The gentle nature of the people of the land: Welcome home, Välkommen hem, The mills of my ancestors, Down in the low lands, They're calling me home, From Valhalla, Välkommen hem, Välkommen hem, etc. (Welcome home)
