Story behind the song
Bass-player Brian shouted out the song title when drunk, and singer Christian later wrote the song. True story. Gilgamesh is a figure from ancient Babylonian legend with whom there are strong similarities to the later character from the Old Testament, Noah. The song describes a meeting between said Gilgamesh and the somewhat better known 'Jesus Christ'.
