Story behind the song
Carla is a Massuese back in Chicago, where I am from originally, and she wanted to post a song on her new business website. She knew I was good at putting songs to other peoples word's, so I gave it a try. The word's didn't really have your normal lyrical ryhming structure to them, so it was a real challenge for me, but I like the way it came out. And I think the message really hit me deep, to the point where I think I sung the song better than any other song I've ever sung in my studio, and that's lookin at 30 years. Yeh, I'm an old fart now, just doin the songwriting Thang now.
