With a definitive sound shaped by his jazz training and folk influences, Ken Pond delivers a myriad of musical styles that are uniquely intertwined and mixed with "tongue in cheek" lyrics that often use parody to convey ideas. A New York native, the pianist/vocalist has previously released three cds and his 4th cd, produced in his home studio, is expected to be complete in December 2005. He has also composed scores for several independent films including "Blind Man" (1998), "Book Thieves" (1998) and "Intuition" (2001). In addition he composed the "Bison Man Cometh" theme for Hoftra Radio's 89.9FM nightly show in 1995, and was the Main Engineer/Staff Producer for Silent Nation Productions in Chicago in 1999.
