Hailing from Brazil, Tuatha De Danann play music that is best described as Irish, and they do it rather well. They are similar to Mago De Oz but not quite so polished, which is a good thing really. They have their own unique style to bring to proceedings. Kicking of with a tuneful wail of pipes "The Dance of the Little Ones" sets the tone for the whole album, a rocking toe tapper. I defy anybody to sit still or refrain from singing along with the songs on offer. The next couple of songs continue in the same vein until midway through the next track "Tan Pinga Ra Tan" when things get a little bizarre with some weird chanting, before settling down again. Next up is "Finganfor" which deserves a mention as being the only song I've ever heard that made me laugh out loud when listening to it! In the middle there is the line "Let's go to the magic palace of Finganfor" sung in a crazy high pitched voice which is totally incongruous. Some of the lyrics are almost like children's nursery rhymes whilst others are very well done, it all adds to the overall fun feel of the album. Normality returns with the tale of "Vercingetorix", and the acoustic "Celtia" wouldn't be out of place on Led Zeppelin III. It's back to the nursery for the title track, which is very enjoyable nonetheless and another acoustic piece closes the album. Overall this is definitely a "feel good" album and fans of Celtic folk metal should definitely check it out.

Lyrics
Brazuzan - Taller Than A Hill The old man told me a story about a tall man Brazuzan the man high as a hill He was so big, that when he walked through the old village People went back home and start to pray Each step of him all the ground shakes and it sounds Like a hurricane, but no one knows how good was his good heart Since he was a little kid he never had a friend Only Grinch the fox and Lix the tree And he cried too much, was so sad, so sad, always felt alone His tears became flood to the people But one day Grinch came to know that Guilart-the evil giant-would came to the village bringing his evil horde ... Coming the day on the hill of the wise The meeting has succeed The both seems like two walls colliding Blood in everywhere Hammers hitting-Swords screaming Giants falling down Guiliart headless -Bleeding Brazuzan ...ground On that day the unique who cried was the tree and the fox And for short minutes the cry of the land was listened to everyone The people felt band and they were full of blame -they loose a grandious man And all the faery beings sung magical hymns for him [Solo:Bruno] Crying people coming from the village to his grave Tears felt down on his tomb Praying from a possible return of the man [Solo:Berne] So Brazuzan came to rise up and with love of all the people Became the great village guardian.... A fantastic party begins...
