Story behind the song

I wanted "Latina Beauties" to appeal to the Latin jazz crowd and to show versatility in the songs I write.

This song has fiery percussive rhythms built into it's theme and great solo work by saxist Andre "Jackson State" Roberson and pianist Eddie Miller.

I take a polyrhythmic drum solo in tribute to one the masters and also one of my favorite drummers Elvin Jones.
