Story behind the song
The Babylon Bee came out with an article that said all the psalms had just four chords; C, D, Em, and G. So, I tried to write a song with those four chords (Of course, I didn't limit myself to just those chords. That chord combination is only in the first line of each verse.).

Jesus sent His followers into all the world
They proclaimed the gospel to us. It cost them their lives.
But they gained eternal life you can never lose.
Give your life to Jesus Christ. Heaven waits for you.
Still today Christ sends us out with His word of truth
Seeking those who are still lost. We may suffer too.
Christ said all whod live for him suffer persecution
But in the end we will win eternal life in Heaven.
We are sent by Gods desire for all to be saved
The trials we face refine our faith like gold is refined
There will be much joy in Heaven when each sinners saved
On the last day well all share Gods eternal glory.
